When my younger son told us that he and his partner were going to have a baby we had conflicting feelings and emotions because we knew that there was a risk of the baby having osteogenesis imperfecta. Writing these letters to my grandchild has helped me to form a connection with her - even before she was born. I hope to continue this journal for as long as I can
