AUGUST 2020 - DEAR EMILY

 Hello my darling Em, Our Level 3 lock down was in place from 1 June to 17 August and then some of the rules were amended from 17 August.  But we still can't visit our familiy even though 50 people can meet in a church, private maids and gardeners can return to work and one can exercise in parks or on the roads with friends.  I suggested to Tammy that I pretend to be your maid, and Gumpie pretends to be your gardener, and we'll be able to legally visit you every day!  There is still a curfew and people can't stay out after 10pm at night. 18 August -  Level 2 which came into effect and  further eased restrictions and finally allowed us to visit family!  But we still had to maintain physical distancing and restrictions on some leisure and social activities to prevent a resurgence of the virus.  But, all restrictions on inter-provisional travel was lifted (so we could go to Kruger if we wanted to) and people could now stay in lodges, hotels etc. Early in the lockdown, I decide

AUGUST 2020 - COVID UPDATE
