Letters to my Grandchild

December is always about school holidays, hanging with friends and Christmas. You got a lovely school report Em, and you have been promoted to Grade 5 next year - well done! Hello darling, Its nearly the end of the year and soon you'll be on holiday again. You and Christina had fun in the Sandown pool           You got an Academic Award certificate - such proud parents and grand-parents!           You love supporting the Sharks and never miss a game with your folks and Gumpie.

Hello birthday girl! You are 11 this month - how could time have passed so quickly? This is a photo of the group Gumpie and I took on the Abbot Pfanner Trappist Trail - the new hiking trail that we established from 2016.  It follows the Trappist from Reichenau mission near Underberg to Mariathal outside Ixopo.  One day we will take you and your folks to see the 8 missions on the trail.
