NOVEMBER 2020 - DEAR EMILY

Image
My darling, You had a long month with lots of studies and many exams to write.  By the end of the month you were 'gat vol' which means full to bursting, had enough, so over it!    We didn't visit you during this time so we were both feeling withdrawal symptoms.   But your hard work paid off and you got excellent marks and a very good report.  Ruby is growing fast!  She finds the oddest places to sleep but her favourite is next to a human, especially you or your Mom. Mom and Dad introduced her to the pool.  Soon she'll be jumping in by herself and swimming every day!  Just look at those beautiful eyes!                                    She also found her bark and barks at herself in the mirror!   Sharon came to visit.  You can see that your cousin Alex is almost ready to be born! Leo has a big lump on the side of his body.  Greg and Sharon are worried about it but he will have surgery next week to have it removed.  We are all praying that isn't malignant.  He loves

Hello my Darling girl, Even though we are on alert level 1, and family and friends are allowed to visit, we don't have many visitors, especially from those people who we know are not as careful as we are about where we go, who we spend outings with and who visits them.  Your Mom and Dad are very cautious and so are Gumpy and me so we visit each other more often Luckily you have the pool at home and you can swim anytime you like.  You don't have to go to a common pool excepting for RuthMarie's where you go for swimming lessons. You also don't have many friends visit your home and you don't go to their's. Clayton and his sister came to visit and you are allowed to visit them This is your birthday month!  You turned 12 on 16th October.  You are turning into a lovely young lady. There is a tradition that on your actual birthday - you have dinner at our place for the 'oldies' - grannies, grandpas, uncles and aunts.  Because of lockdown, you and your parents c
