HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMILY-ANN

Its not your birthday today but you had your party today because your real birthday is on Tuesday - 16th October.
Tammy decided to have two parties - a morning party for 10 little ones and their Mommies and a 12pm to 2pm party for the grand-parents, uncles and aunties. 
You had your Tinkerbell theme and all the little ones were given wings when they arrived and had their faces painted. 
By the time we got there, the sweeties and little cakes had been cleared away and more adult snacks had been laid out. 
I think you'd had a lot of sweet stuff because you were quite hyper when we arrived!  It was a lovely party and you showed me your new 3/4 bed (on the floor) that has replaced your baby cot.  My word, you are growing up quickly Em.

My darling Em, I was away for most of this month, walking the Camino to Santiago with Gail.  You know that Jeff had a big operation on his throat and neck last year after being diagnosed with throat cancer.  Afterwards he needed chemo and radiation and Gail cared for him and stayed with him during his treatments.  This meant that they couldn't walk with Gumpy and me in Italy to Rome.  Gail was very disappointed but I promised her that when she was ready, I would walk with her in Italy or Spain.  She chose Spain and on 9th May we flew to Spain to start our Camino. Tammy sent us photos of you while we were away and on your Dad's birthday we spoke to you all on Skype.  We missed all the May birthdays and the birthday dinner. You did your 400m swim while we were away.  We were so proud of you Em!! You had an outing with Mecayla. The mermaid swimsuit I'd ordered for you was  delivered - you look great in it - like a princess mermaid!

MAY - JUNE 2023

 Hello my darling! The months are flying by too quickly.  In a few weeks we'll be moving to our new cottage and you'll be flying to your new country! Mark had a farewell function with his team in La Lucia.   Apil/May has a full calendar of birthdays and anniversaries in our families.   29 April - Sharon's birthday and Greg and Sharon's wedding anniversary on 2 May.  (And on the same day Ruby got her Visa to go with you to America!)  15 May - Mark's birthday   26 May Gregs birthday  30 May Mark and Tammy's wedding anniversary.   On 10 June Jeff and Gail had a farewell party for you at Simbithi.   Only the ladies were allowed to say a few words this time. There were too many emotional men talking at Gumpie's 80th birthday and Gail and Tammy decided the ladies could do a better job!
