June 2018 - TAM

Hey Bug

Shall we see what happened in June ? I was another FUN packed month were we had lots of adventures.

You are trying so hard at school, you adore you teacher Mrs Bresser. She has brought out the best in you and she loves you just as much as you love her.

We are so proud of you.

At the beginning of the year you joined the grade 3 choir at school and you had your first public performance. Your choir was invited to perform at the St Luke's Church annual Market. It was a beautiful day, Gumpy (granny was away)  met us to watch you sing and then we had tea and scones and wondered around to see what everyone was selling.

We had the car all packed we were going straight to the Hluhulwe Game Reserve from the market, but then you had a really bad tooth ache and we had to stop at the dentist before we could leave. He fixed your tooth up quick quick and we collected your medicine and were on our way on our weekend adventure.

We had a wonderful family weekend in the game reserve, saw beautiful wild life, did goofy things that made us all laugh, ate lots of chips, practiced being max relaxed and spent hours chatting. We will have many many more weekends like this, its one of our favorite things to do.

So lets see what happened next?

Kev and Jax arrived with Riley for a holiday from England. When they visit we always have the best time and you absolutely loved paying big cousin to Riley. Daddy and Kevin giggled non stop like usual and Jax, you and I went on a shopping spree :) Well sort of, mostly we messed around in the shops and put on all the funny jackets and hats.

And Just like that it was the Jun / July School Holidays ............... And wow was it a busy one. Jacqui brought her Marine Biology class to Durban from Johannesburg to do a whole bunch of research and practical work and we were invited to tag along.

You and Christina had such an amazing holiday together, sleep overs, hanging out on the beach, animal farms, finding funny signs, Mangrove tours and beach cleanups. We were packing it all in :)

We spent an afternoon at Dangerous  Creatures at Ushaka where they let us hold all sorts of reptiles and creepy crawlies. You act brave but I think the snakes and crawlies really creep you out, you hid behind me and didn't want to touch any of them. The closest you got was someone else holding them near you.

Then we went back for a fun day at Ushaka watching the Dolphin and Seal shows and wondering around the aquarium. I learned that you and Christina don't walk as much as you dance and prance everywhere you go.

Then we braved the 100 million steps up and down to Treasure Beach for the day, oh my goodness. You little miss got one of Jacqui's kind high school boys to carry you up.

And after all of that those amazing adventures fun and giggles June was over but we were still on holidays and we had some big plans for July

Love you baby girl
