APRIL 2019

Hello my darling Em,

We have settled into our little cottage at Sandown Village.  The first thing we did was get
Jenny Dean, a Landscape Gardener, to give us an indigenous garden.
You helped a lot and the two of you created a lovely Fairy Garden behind the tree.  Jenny brought a bag of hay and you spread so much hay around the tree there was hardly any room for plants!

Jenny put a 'sitting rock' next to the path to your Fairy garden so that you would
have somewhere quiet to sit and read.
You helped to choose the plants and where to plant them.

You and Tammy went to Stoneage to buy colour pebbles, mini bark stepping stones and a couple of fairies to put in the garden

I bought a solar flower light and at night there is a lovely glow around the tree and the Fairy Garden

The indigenous garden is beautiful and your Fairy garden is a lovely surprise
when you walk on the stepping stones behind the tree!

On 12th April it was our 50th Wedding Anniversary.  We had Sundowners in our new cottage for the family and we invited Barbara and Charles Mason.  Charles was Gumpie's Groomsman at our wedding so we have been friends for almost 55 years.

There are a surprise for you when you arrived!
Christina was staying with Jeff and Gail and they brought her with them to our celebration.

You gave us a concert - each doing a solo dance and then a duet dance in the garden
